The Tczew gmina is also a Wisła River gmina located by two main international highways A-1 (domestic highway No. 1), connecting the Tri-City agglomeration with the country’s south regions and highway No. 22 Kostrzyn – Berlin – Gorzów Wielkopolski, connecting Starogard Gdański with Malbork and Elbląg. The gmina naturally adheres to the Wisła River and circles the city of Tczew with its surface area. It borders with the following other gminas: Pszczółki, Skarszewy, Starogard Gdański, Subkowy, Suchy Dąb, Trąbki Wielkie, and behind the Wisła River with the Lichnowy and Miłoradz gminas. Railways connect it with Starogard Gdański and Gdańsk. The main railway junction in Tczew enables a comfortable commute to most Polish cities. One can also get to Gdańsk, Starogard Gdański, Malbork and Gniew by bus. Such a location of the gmina in road transportation is undoubtedly of great significance in its future development plans. The attractive attributes of the gmina will be increased with the construction of the North-South highway and road communication junctions in Stanisławie and Swarożyn.
